On 12th June, HGS held its latest event at the Berkshire Golf Club, with 41 members and guests participating. The course was in magnificent condition and we were very well looked after by all the Berkshire staff. 
The Blue course was used for the singles in the morning and we were playing for the Gold Cup, our most prestigious trophy along with the Scratch Cup and the Reid Trophy, which is for Growers only. The Gold Cup was won by Ian Richardson with 34 points, and who also won the Reid Trophy. The Scratch Cup was won by Simon Partridge with a gross score of 83. In the afternoon, greensome's were played on the Red course and the victors with a magnificent score of 45 pints were Andy Hall and his guest, Richard Harris.
