Simon Partridge's Captain's Week Away took place in Dinard in Brittany, North France from 6th to 11 September. The weather over the week was very mixed with some rain, quite a bit of sunshine and some wind but everyone enjoyed a fantastic week. The hotel was superb and the eating houses in Dinard were exceptional. The golf over the week was very mixed with some magnificant scores of 47 points in our 1st event and 49 points in our Mixed final event. The main events of the week were the Dornoch Trophy won by Glenys Ellis with 31 points and the Sandwich Cup won by Roger Head with 37 points. Roger has been competing in this event for over 20 years and this is his first win in the major trophy - so congratulations to him. All the results from the week are shown in the scores below.

So this year having crossed the Channel to Dinard, in 2027, we will cross the Irish Sea and play around the Sligo area in Ireland and hopefully everyone will have just as enjoyable time as was had in Dinard.
